Scaffolding & Hoarding Licences

If scaffolding structures, walkways, barriers or hoardings are intended to be erected or installed on a Public Highway – this includes a road, verge, footway, private roads, public streets, footpath and carriageway, then a scaffolding and hoarding license is required. In short any area that has public access or right of access. Bedfordshire Scaffolding Network members fully comply with the framework of ensuring that the public safety is paramount.

If a scaffolding structure is to be erected around a building or a public highway then a scaffolding license is required. Our approved panel of scaffolding companies will ensure that they apply for the relevant license with the relevant local authority or borough controlling your property or highway.
